About Sarah

Having grown up with the Lizard as my playground and the Helford River a particular favourite of mine, I definitely have an affinity for all things Cornish.

Now later in life I find myself back on the banks of the Helford River.

My husband is the ferryman and my 3 children Dan, Jowan and Joss growing up as I did with a complete innocence and freedom to enjoy this special part of the world.

How did I get here?

I was born in Truro and grew up in Mawgan and Trelowarren Estate growing up, retail and fashion were always a huge passion of mine.

In my early twenties I opened a shop in Truro, which was great fun but just a little too far away from the beach for my liking!

So I find myself here "Sarah's Shop". I can hear my husbands ferry and the kids playing on the beach. What a pleasure it is to combine something I love doing in running my shop, with being so close to my family and friends.

Hobbies are rather limited to bike riding with Dan, swimming, dancing, reading in the bath, rowing my "Cornish Maid", weeding and The Hotel Tresanton take note dear husband!

It has to be the most social and fun way to pursue a career!
