About the shop
Helford Passage's best kept secret!
We are a small exclusive boutique offering a superb range of hand crafted locally made and totally unique gifts.
When my husband and I took over the boat business I was very keen to make the beach kiosk look as fantastic as possible. I'd been inspired by a similar one on our holidays in France.
In my heart I believed this small hut on the beach could lead to bigger and better things! From buckets to bunting, handmade jewellery, scarves, organic fudge and of course yummy "Roskilly's" ice cream I soon noticed the popularity of all my goodies. The feedback was amazing. So after a great first season and an approving husband we soon made steps to convert our life jacket store into the shop it once was!
So Sarah's Shop was born Easter 2007, with a gathering of locals, background jazz and lashings of fizz our journey began. Locally sourced art, crafts, handmade jewellery, driftwood art, oyster candles, kids hand made jumpers and don't forget the book exchange in my loo!
I try my best to keep with a nautical theme and imagine my customers buying a wooden boat for their loo or a Mitty James hoody for the beach. Growing up I always searched for that "something different" especially when it came to clothes, accessories and paint colour in my bedroom! I'm a great believer in jazzing up an outfit with a few funky wears, be it organic cotton or fair trade bangles I support them all.
Enjoy!
