What's New?
So what's new and where are we? Well, how do I begin... We had a great winter and managed to stay open throughout the snow, thanks to regular customers for all their support and custom over the last few months. Snowball fights and sledging were enjoyed by all!
As the clocks change and ferry is dusted down we look forward to Spring and happy days... I have gone even more local, trying to design and source as close to home as possible and what results so far! Driftwood arts and crafts from our beach and paintings so fresh the paint is still wet; It makes me so excited to see a piece of jewelery that I have sketched and dreamt of come alive, thanks Jo; Fantastic 100% cotton dresses, smocks and tops all very bright and colourful; St. James for that nautical look, lots of pretty scarves, new and exciting bits for kids and my old faithful "Mitty James" is back in force with lots of colours to choose from.
Nick and the kids are in rude good health... a shiny new landy for Nick, only slightly soiled by the blue paint from the kiosk he dripped whilst perched on the bonnet painting, sorry! Joss is nearly 3, now that is really scary, playgroup and zest for life second to none. Jowan and Dan rock, we could not do this without them. They choose the ice cream for the kiosk and insist on trying out all new shop stock be it fashon or games to destruction. Keep it up boys and if the sun shines that trip to euro disney could be on the way!
Wishes and wants.... Sun Sun Sun, West wind and high Spring tide. French onion soup in the FBI. Health and happiness to all my brood. Of course a trip to see Sam and Emma in Fowey, a glass of bubbles as the sun goes down in St Mawes and maybe, just maybe, a good year for us all...
Till next time,
Sarah x
